Roger O. Hirson
Roger O. Hirson wrote extensively for the theatre, movies and television. Broadway: Pippin, Walking Happy, both nominated for the Tony. Off-Broadway: Journey to the Day, World War 2½. He won the Emmy for his six-hour television miniseries A Woman Named Jackie. His adaptation of A Christmas Carol, starring George C. Scott, was honored by a Royal Command performance. Film: Demon Seed, starring Julie Christie and The Bridge at Remagen.
